Learner Code of Conduct

Effective date: [Effective Date]

Every MakRew class should feel safe, respectful and focused on learning, for you and for your teacher. These are the house rules for learners and parents.

Be respectful

  • Treat teachers, staff and other learners with courtesy. No abuse, insults, threats, discrimination or bullying, in class or in messages.
  • Respect your teacher's time: join on time, and cancel or reschedule through the dashboard, not by last-minute messages.
  • Give honest, fair reviews based on your own experience.

Keep it appropriate

  • Join from a quiet, private, suitable space. Dress appropriately; for fitness classes wear comfortable activewear.
  • No sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content, language or gestures.
  • Do not ask a teacher for personal favours, dates, money or personal contact outside the platform.

Keep it on MakRew

  • Book, pay and communicate through makrew.live. Don't arrange private paid lessons with a MakRew teacher.
  • Don't share your account, plan or session links with anyone else.

Respect content and privacy

  • Don't record, screenshot, livestream or share sessions, recordings or materials without written permission.
  • Don't share other people's personal details.

Look after your safety

  • For fitness classes, fill in the readiness form honestly, clear the space around you and stop if anything hurts.
  • Learners under 18: a parent or guardian should be at home and reachable during class; for learners under [12], a parent should be in the room for the first session.

Report concerns

If a teacher or anyone else makes you uncomfortable, use Report a concern (the shield at the top of your dashboard) or email info@makrew.live. Reports are confidential, and you will not lose any session for reporting in good faith.

If the code is broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may give a warning, end a session early (the session counts as used), suspend bookings or close the account. Serious incidents may be reported to the police. Refunds in these cases follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
